We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Painter & Stainer in Peterborough.

This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint and stain to various indoor and outdoor structures, and ensuring high-quality finishes. The ideal candidate will have experience with brushes, rollers, and sprayers, as well as knowledge of surface preparation and safety procedures. The ability to work independently or as part of a team, along with a strong eye for detail, is essential. Reliability and a commitment to quality workmanship are key to success in this position.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, or patching as needed
• Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
• Mix and match paints and stains to achieve desired colors and finishes
• Protect non-painted surfaces using drop cloths or masking tape
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition
• Follow safety protocols and keep work areas clean
