Machine Operator ($21)

We are seeking skilled and motivated individuals for new full time Machine Operator positions in the Peterborough area.

This role requires working collaboratively with a small team to ensure the efficient operation of machinery. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to troubleshoot, and the flexibility to perform a variety of tasks, including processing products and working with tools.

Machine Operator Duties:

• Feed materials into the machine and monitor its operation to ensure optimal performance.
• Work closely with a coworker to maintain and adjust machine settings as needed.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues when the machine is not functioning properly.
• Perform shared tasks related to machine operation, including maintenance and cleanup.
• Use small tools effectively and safely for adjustments and minor repairs.
• Process products according to operational standards and quality requirements.
• Maintain focus on the machine’s performance and overall efficiency.

Machine Operator Requirements:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn quickly.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a small team environment.
• Comfortable working with small tools and performing minor repairs.
• Physically fit to manage tasks such as feeding materials and cleaning up.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of focus on operational performance.
• Willingness to perform a variety of tasks to support team goals.
• Daily access to reliable transportation.
