We are seeking a skilled and safety-oriented Machine Operator for a full-time position in Cobourg, ON.

As a Machine Operator, the successful candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring manufacturing equipment to ensure efficient production processes.

Machine Operator Duties:

• Operate and monitor machinery during the production process to ensure quality and efficiency
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machines to ensure optimal performance
• Set up machines according to specifications and adjust as needed
• Read and interpret work orders and production schedules
• Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed
• Troubleshoot machine issues and perform minor repairs as necessary
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Machine Operator Requirements:

• Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs)
• Basic computer skills for tracking production data
• Daily access to reliable transportation
