Installation & Delivery Driver

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Installation & Delivery Driver in the Peterborough area.

This role involves delivering products safely and efficiently, performing installations, and ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality service. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, safety-conscious, and experienced in inventory management and basic construction tasks.

Installation & Delivery Driver Duties:

• Safely transport and deliver products to customers while ensuring items remain intact during transit.
• Lift and carry heavy boxes, including up and down stairs.
• Perform accurate inventory checks, including receiving and verifying quantities against bills.
• Understand and apply FIFO (First In, First Out) principles when handling inventory.
• Perform installations requiring the use of ladders (under 6 ft), power tools, hand tools, and saws.
• Carry out various construction tasks as needed.
• Maintain attention to detail to ensure all deliveries and installations meet high-quality standards.
• Be flexible with shift start and end times, including occasional weekend work.

Installation & Delivery Driver Requirements:

• Valid G Licence with a clean driving abstract.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting and carrying heavy items.
• High attention to detail and ability to work cautiously to protect items during transportation.
• Experience with inventory management, including receiving and verifying orders.
• Familiarity with FIFO principles and a proactive work ethic.
• Comfortable using ladders (under 6 ft) and operating tools such as power tools, hand tools, and saws.
• Prior experience in construction or related tasks.
• Availability for flexible working hours, including long shifts and occasional weekends.
