Driver / Mover ($25.00)

We are seeking a positive and self-motivated individual for a new Driver / Mover position in Barrie, ON.

In this role, the successful candidate will be pivotal in ensuring the safe and efficient transport of goods and belongings. Day-to-day tasks will involve meticulous handling and moving of items, maintaining excellent customer relations, and upholding the highest standards of safety during each move.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, with weekend availability required
• Day shift with flexible timings based on moving jobs
• Occasional Sundays as needed

Driver / Mover Duties:

• Load, unload, and transport furniture and household goods manually or using basic material handling equipment.
• Adhere to a strict no drug and alcohol policy; no smoking or vaping in trucks or on customer property.
• Other duties as needed

Driver / Mover Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Valid G-class driver's license
• Demonstrated customer service excellence and strong team collaboration.
• Clean driving record and familiarity with diesel trucks.
• A minimum of 3 years commercial driving experience.
• Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate varying job times and weekend work.
• Prior experience in moving is an asset, but we provide comprehensive training.
• Work will primarily be on the road.
