Key Responsibilities:
PLC Maintenance:
- Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Identify and resolve issues related to PLC programming, ensuring machinery operates efficiently.
Machine Maintenance:
- Perform preventive maintenance on various industrial machines to minimize downtime and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Collaborate with production teams to understand machine requirements and address maintenance needs promptly.
Troubleshooting:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues with PLC-controlled systems.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze problems and implement effective solutions.
System Upgrades:
- Participate in the planning and execution of PLC system upgrades and modifications.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements to recommend and implement improvements.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
- Document PLC programs, configurations, and changes for future reference.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with engineers and other maintenance staff to ensure seamless integration of PLC systems with overall manufacturing processes.
- Provide technical support to production teams and assist in training when necessary.
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure all maintenance activities comply with relevant regulations.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a PLC Machine Maintenance Technician or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their applications.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical and mechanical issues.
- Familiarity with industrial machinery and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent understanding of safety protocols and electrical regulations.
- Technical degree or certification in electrical engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related field.
