Machine Operator – Afternoons

We are seeking skilled Machine Operators to set up, maintain and operate machinery at a factory in the Barrie area.

Ideal candidates should have prior experience operating production machinery, solid attention to detail and safety standards.

Candidates must be able to work straight Afternoon shifts.

Machine Operator Duties:

• Set up machines to start a production cycle
• Control and adjust machine settings
• Feed raw material or parts into machines
• Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
• Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
• Other duties as required

Machine Operator Requirements:

• Proven experience as a machine operator
• Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.)
• Understanding of production procedures
• Adherence to health and safety regulations
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals
• Must be available for straight Afternoon
• Analytical skills and strong attention to detail
• Daily access to reliable transportation
