Industrial Painter / Sandblaster
Description
We are seeking Industrial Painters / Sandblasters for new full-time opportunities on Day shifts in the Peterborough area.
In this role, the successful candidate will sandblast and apply finishes to various fabrications and including interior/exterior walls, trucks, trailers, tankers, and various metal fabrications.
Previous experience with blasting or using pressure pots is a major plus. Applicants should feel comfortable performing physical tasks in various weather conditions.
Must be able to work straight Day shifts.

Industrial Painter Duties:
- Set up blast pot and nozzle equipment
- Sandblast surfaces or remove rust as necessary
- Mix and apply paint or other coatings
- Use a brush to coat areas as necessary
- Notify manager of inventory needs
- Follow all safety regulations
Industrial Painter Requirements and Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED certificate a plus
- Available for straight Day shifts
- Industrial painting or sandblasting experience preferred
- Experience working at heights and on ladders
- Physical stamina
- Attention to detail
- Daily access to reliable transportation
